HANNSPREE INTRODUCES COLLECTION OF
ZOO ANIMAL-DESIGNED
DIGITAL PHOTO FRAMES

Since its inception in 2003, Hannspree has become known for its unusual and uniquely fashionable electronic products. Hannspree manufactures TVs, monitors, laptops and digital alarm clocks as well as digital photo frames.

The company’s products are designed to reflect the passions and taste of their prospective owners by giving them the opportunity to express and celebrate their individuality with aesthetically pleasing products.

The company produces a standard 8” and a standard 10” digital frame and has now added four zoo animal-inspired frames to its collection. All four represent protected species. They are the elephant, the giraffe, the panda and the polar bear.

The venting holes and speakers are incorporated into the back panel of the animals. Attention to detail is evident as shown by the 360 degree contours and special selection of the fur used on these frames.

Besides being fun to have and give for animal lovers as well as children, these zoo animal frames are fully functional digital photo frames. Each has an 800 x 480 screen resolution in a TFT LED 8” landscape (16:9) display. The contrast ratio is excellent at 500:1, the brightness is at 200 and the viewing angle is very adequate. Brightness, color and contrast are adjustable through the onscreen menu or the included remote.

Supported memory card formats include Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick-Pro (MS-Pro), xD Picture Card and Compact Flash (CF).

The units come with 256 MB of internal memory and support JPEG picture formats, MP3 audio formats and MPEG-1, 2 and 4 video formats. A 2.0 USB port and earphone jack are also included.

Power on/off and file management features such as rotate, copy and delete, as well as calendar and alarm clock features are all accessible from the remote and from the onscreen menu through the buttons. The automatic slideshow has 15 transitional effects and a choice of display intervals between pictures from 5 seconds to 3 minutes.

This collection of digital photo frames should be available at Best Buy and Newegg’s Electronic Store in the near future.
