Digital Frame Technology -What's Next?This section of the website will focus on the very latest digital frame technology news. This digital frame industry is constantly changing and growing to meet consumer demands and compete in today's marketplace.
A large majority of the consumers buying digital frames are still just buying them as gifts. Quite often, (maybe more often than not!) those who receive these gifts may not know how to use them or don't understand their potential. (One of the major reasons I write on this website!) With so many different styles and features, every room in the house could and should have at least one on a tabletop or desk or hung on the wall like a traditional frame. But at current prices, purchasing more than 1 or 2 for the home may not yet be an option, even though prices have been coming down steadily. It is also very unfortunate that with such a wide variety of frames on the market, it is possible to choose one that may not meet expectations of quality or construction. Consumers who have purchased or gifted a poor frame in the past may not try another one in the near future. Happily though, all signs lead to the fact that within the very foreseeable future, the large number of manufacturers, each competing to put out the most stylish and most fully-functioning digital frames will eventually meet or exceed customer expectations. (Wi-Fi connectivity for all would definitely be something I would put on my wish list!) Better frames will result in more consumer purchases which will bring down the prices of all frames. The digital frame industry as well as the entire digital electronic industry is in a constant exciting state of flux. It is my intention to keep visitors to this site on the "cutting edge" of everything that is happening on the digital frame scene. Some of the more innovative ideas presented here may never make it to your home or business. Many of these products won't even find their way into the United States any time soon (or possibly not at all). Nonetheless, I feel that research and development is so exciting that I want to share this information with you. I hope you'll enjoy the entries. As always, please contact me at your convenience.
