Digital Frame ManufacturersIn this section, there will eventually be a page dedicated to each of the major digital frame manufacturers marketing to consumers in the United States. I will continue to add pages as time allows. Included with each manufacturer's page will be a brief description of the company and its goals, as well as a listing of the frames they produce.
Each page will also contain a synopsis of "kudos" and "caveats" for the company as a whole as well as for individual frames when available. This information comes from consumer reviews I have gathered from all over the Internet. Because the digital frame industry is relatively new, it is still possible to find a wide variety of older models available for sale, especially on the Internet. Many of these can be purchased at discounted prices. It is important to know what can be expected from these older (and sometimes refurbished) frames.
The answer to this question will of course vary according to the quality standards of each manufacturer. As a general rule, if the company or the seller offers a good warranty with the refurbished model, this is usually a good indication of what to expect. A USA-based support team would be a plus. A lifetime warranty (CEIVA) would clinch the deal for me!
